The staff here (Stacey and James) had issues with the kitchen getting food out due to staffing issues beyond their control but faced them head on and were so apologetic and sincere. Despite some awkward moments they still managed to keep smiling. Even though we had to wait an hour and 20 mins for our meals we could not fault the staff. We will definitely come back

Food was great. There were 7 of us. I had the best veggie burger I’ve ever had. Others had fish and chips, curry and burgers. Bar staff were lovely and very helpful. Will definitely be going back!

I’ve been to the Oak tree a few times now and every time it has been lovely!! each time i’ve had the same server, Eli, and each time she has been attentive, polite and kind and the food has been lovely every time!

Last weekend, my girlfriend and I decided to try out The Oak Tree, and honestly, we were blown away. Right from the moment we stepped in, the warm, welcoming vibe of the place set the perfect tone for our evening.
We ordered a steak and a pizza, both of which turned out to be absolutely delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful, with just the right amount of seasoning. The pizza was equally impressive, with a fantastic crust and just the right balance of toppings. It's not every day you find a place that nails both steak and pizza!
A big shoutout to the chef, Frankie, whose skill really shone through in every bite. It’s clear he knows his way around the kitchen and takes pride in every dish he prepares.
Overall, our experience at The Oak Tree was delightful. It's a great spot if you're looking for tasty food and a cozy atmosphere. We’re already planning our next visit to try some more of Frankie's creations!

My friend & I visited here for your opening preview on Sun 3rd March.
We both pre booked here, were greeted upon immediate arrival and shown to our tables.
We were informed that food on that menu was 50% off and opted for a half roast chicken in true fashion. You pay before you order your food which I don’t mind as I am always trying to find a member of staff at end of my meal in places to pay.
Taking into consideration the place was busy the wait was adequate 25-30 mins.
Food was very satisfactory, temperature hot and filling. (Didn’t have much room for dessert)
Will return in near future was an enjoyable experience

Refurb looks lovely, really glad they have the darts and pool table if you fancy playing a game or two. The food and service were amazing. They also have a spacious function room which looked fab for all sorts of events.
