Reviews of Hungry Hobbit

The food was okay. You could tell the meats were pre cooked and kept warm as they felt dried out when consuming. But all round an enjoyable breakfast. The staff were friendly and professional with a clear understanding of everything they offered. It was very quiet when we visited so not much of an atmosphere to judge on but I'm sure it's a place that gets busy on the early breakfast runs and the lunch rushes. Overall a decent place with a good value for money. I will deffo have breakfast here again if I ever pass it whilst I'm out.

My wife went into the cafe to get a sandwich for me and her, 1 x tuna salad sandwich and 1 x chicken tikka sandwich and pop, the lady who served my wife was very polite and she said that she would bring the sandwiches out to us. The sandwiches were very tasty, will come and visit again. Thank you Roy

I initially left a poor review when I was in a “lack of bacon sandwich depression” induced rage (it’s a serious condition) due to the card machine not working. In hindsight that was really harsh - this cafe is great. It sounds like their broadband issues have been sorted, so they’ll accept cards again. I’ve recently found out that their food is available on at least one widely known takeaway app, which helps the situation too. Exactly what you’d expect - simple, well cooked breakfast good for a reasonable price. Will be back as soon as possible, although hopefully not too often as they’d have to start rolling me in the door.
