I love the Yorks cafe by New street station, but this one can't keep up. There is just few staff working, all the times I've visited. The service is very slow. It seems like it is always in a "soft opening" mood.

Came for coffee and bit of food. Was very busy (as it should be) and we managed to find a little spot for us both. Still got table served drinks and food within a decent time and service always great. What I would say is there should definitely be a service charge either a standard rate or added to bill on a yes or no basis. Staff are grafters, but they also really care and you can send this through food and service. Thank you!

Had a brunch here on Saturday and enjoyed a good time. It was kinda busy with only two waiters but didn't wait for too long. The dark chocolate was absolutely amazing which got me impressed and the Chicago honey chicken was not bad as well. Love the vibe here I'll def come back with friends.

Lovely place for breakfast/brunch. Great coffee and I can definitely recommend the York's House Breakfast. Will be going back to try more.

What a gem.Spent an ENTIRE day here..9-5 and never felt more welcomed. Breakfast to lunch through afternoon tea. Considered moving to work elsewhere but this location,environment, staff and food was so wonderful it was just unnecessary to try to improve . There were a few other folks that stayed and worked and met coworkers throughout the day as well so it seems like it’s a typical act. Got through a ton of work and quite a good portion of the menus as well. Had the salmon eggs Benedict teas and a flat white for breakfast, moved onto the broccoli & green bean salad, chicken flatbread and bulgar salad for lunch , ended with a spinach and blueberry cake (it was soooo surprisingly delicious!!)and rose tea and then on more pick me up earl grey tea pot to end it all. Nothing was too expensive at all and it was all lovely and tasty. LOVED THIS PLACE. Wish they had locations elsewhere;)

Ordered a Flat White and the Shakshuka from the Brunch menu. A nicely located venue attached to the brilliant Ikon Gallery so busy with arty folk. A nice menu selection with a good variety of sandwiches and small plates that is typical of this type of cafe. Flatbreads, Sourdoughs, etc. The food arrived promptly and the Flat White was made using their own Speciality roast which I found a little bitter for me (but that’s my own personal coffee taste, which is a little nesh). Nice playlist and really friendly and welcoming staff. I ate on a Weds lunchtime which was nice and quiet but I could imagine it gets quite busy at weekends. Will definitely return.
