Had a family day out, staff were very helpful from the time we stepped in until we left. Food wise starters were on point, mains were excellent. Great portions had so much we couldn’t finish off. Soft drink and also had mocktails. Lovely family friendly place.
Few places in UK where you can find good quality food with nice ambiance. Tipu Sultan is one of them. I was amazed to see the decor and sitting area. Good verity of traditional Pakistani food. Grill and Paya were my favourite. All dishes were equally good. I loved food so much that I had to get take away as well.
I’ve been to the one in Leicester which is near me which is amazing… this one didn’t disappoint
Decent size car park
Very nicely decorated inside. Very clean and plenty of places for pics with the decor
Our waiter Umer farooq was quality. Very funny and made the evening better. Love when staff love their jobs
Wasn’t a long wait for the food and everyone at the table spoke about how generous and flavoursome the food was.
Really nice and fresh and mouth watering taste
Have been here a few times and would highly recommend if in the area
Great work guys keep it up
I really nice 5 star experience with great tasty food. Their samosa chaat is a must try. Other curries and meats are nice aswell. If u are craving for authentic Pakistani cusine with a posh nosh experience then thats ur place to go.
Amazing service, stunning decor, the food was nice we had the special grill starter for £25. it all tasted good except for the green hariyali chicken which was bland. and we also had gosht karahi and gosht biryani my husband usually eats the biryani from here however this time it was a little different which i can understand can happen sometimes. overall good experience spent around £80 for two people.
Lovely place and atmosphere. Felt very much comfortable due to the staff service. There are prayer facilities for sisters on the first floor and for the brothers on the second floor.
Food is on point. Really enjoyed the samosa chaat from the starters that I ordered. Overall, I preferred and thought the main dishes were better than the starters.
I'm definitely coming back for more.

Butter Chicken: 10/10
Karahi Gosht: 9.5/10
Lamb Biryani: 9.4/10
Virgin Mojito: 6/10
Passionfruit mojito: 6/10
Salted Caramel (don't fully remember the name) ice cream: 9.5/10
Good food and quick service.
Their food is nice, although portion sizes have become smaller while charging the same price. The service is very good, quick and attentive. Their dessert menu needs expanding and most of the ice cream flavours are out of stock. Atmosphere is always very noisy (but have gone in peak times, so understandable). Would recommend for family.
There is alot of seating space in Tipu's so its rare for it to be maxed out. Food is taste good just not a fan of the prices. Loads of variety on the menu for vegetarians and on vegetarians. Can easily recommend this to others
I heard so much about tipu sultan so I had to visit when I went to Birmingham. Interior is nice. Poppadoms and chutney was good. For the starter I had sultani chops it was really hard and dry, kabab was really chewy and not flavourful.
Both my starters I didn't enjoy.
Prawns curry was delicious 10/10.
Lamb Karahi was okay 8/10.
Mocktail 🍹 was nice 👍
Mango lassi was good..
Good food, great atmosphere.
The fish pakoras were really fresh! One of the best I’ve ever had.
The lamb chops were very tasty, could do with being a bit bigger in size.
The karahi mutton’s taste was very authentic, would recommend.
The Rumali Roti was massive!
Good presentation, friendly staff.
The Easter island mini statue in the corner felt a bit odd for the setting.
Overall a very nice restaurant. Felt a bit pricey, but I guess it is worth it.
