2nd time eating the carvery. It's the best I've ever tasted!! Succulent meats and the veg/Yorkshires and everything else done to perfection 👌🏽Excellent service and lovely staff. We will be going again!!!!!
The waitress Grace B was exceptional catered too all are needs always with a smile. She has a lovely bubbly peronality and is a great hostess .. the carvery and drinks were good as is the usual

Would definitely recommend the delicious carvery at Sheldon Hall, Gressel Lane, B33. Available every day, not just Sundays. Choice of large or small plate under £10 to fill with several types of vegetables, creamy mashed potatoes, crispy but soft roast potatoes, stuffing and cauliflower cheese, three choices of meat, and yorkshire pudding. Sundries include mustard, cranberry sauce, horseradish sauce, and gravy. Highly recommend.
Been here loads for dinner and we decided the stunning building and lovely food would be the perfect place to celebrate with our guests and have our wedding photos! We have booked our wedding reception here and can’t wait! We went to view the room after speaking with the lovely manager Paul. Could not have been more accommodating, amazingly priced and kind. Rich and I are so excited, thank you!!! 😆 x
The second time we’ve been served by grace b. As always - lovely friendly girl. Shown to our table quickly. And came back for our order just as fast. Me and my family, are super impressed with the service received by grace b :)
I visited Sheldon Hall for the first time yesterday and I have to say the food was phenomenal. I usually go to Toby Carvery but I have to say, I’m very glad I tried out Sheldon Hall. The staff was so polite, a young girl ‘Grace B’ was my waitress and she served with a lovely smile on her face. Waiting time was also very quick which I appreciated and the place was lovely and clean. Will definitely recommend! Will be coming again!
The food, the service and the atmosphere were amazing. The food was to die for and me and my family thoroughly enjoyed our night. Our waitress Grace B was very attentive and very understanding about my allergies. I would highly recommend to a friend.
Booked for 14 people for a pre wedding meal, was given a long table in the back room which we were told was just for us all night. The manager very kindly allowed us to dress the table and play some music. Good was great and the staff were lovely and attentive. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back...thank you all at Sheldon Hall 👍
Been a few times and everytime is different. Sometimes great, sometimes not so much. Tonight took family out for carvery. Got seated straight away which was good and ordered on the app. About 5 10 minute queue so not bad for carvery and good selection. Did have to ask to move tables as it was freezing by the fireplace but overall everyone enjoyed the food. Only downfall is if your not having carvery there is quite a wait for normal food like pizza etc so keep that in mine when ordering different food. Server's were all lovely and accommodating cudnt fault them
Unfortunately the food wasn't up to its usual standard on this visit and some staff didn't seem to be as knowledgeable about the menu when it came to questions around whether of not the carvery was dairy free, which is the reason for the 4 star instead of 5. However, the atmosphere is great and the service from Grace B was excellent, she was lovely, bubbly and very helpful.
