Staff really friendly. Food was good and tasty. Had a problem with a dessert but was soon rectified Prices £ . Lots of students coming and going . Offers on free drink with certain meals. Lots of TVs around to watch sports. Went at lunchtime Atmosphere was good . Toilets checked and clean. Usual graffiti behind toilets doors . Really don’t know why people do that and have the time !! No car park but found a space on a street opposite. We couldn’t eat all the food . Staff offered us a carton and brown bag to take the rest home . Great idea for those with a smaller appetite .Yes I would definitely go again.
I am an Erasmus student in UoB, definitely the best bar near the University, very cozy, staff is great, food is really good and you have awesome prices. Been looking for a reason to give it 4 stars but just can’t! Definitely a good and friendly bar to go to.
Great pub. Helpful and welcoming staff. Tasty food. Comfy environment. Gave us a takeaway container and carrier bag to take our leftovers with us. Staff went that little bit extra that makes all the difference. Very enjoyable lunch out.

Went to the Goose for the first time after passing in front of it for the longest time. The ambiance was nice, the service was okay, although I would imagine that it might be slower if there is a crush. Just something to do with attentiveness. It wasn't dismissive though. Place was fairly crowded but then this was a Sunday night. Might be fuller on a Friday night methinks.
The highlight of the night were the other patrons. They were so friendly and helpful. They gave me a crash course on snooker or pool like they seem to call it here. The two groups that I met at the table were amazing 🤩😍. It is worth returning just for a chance to meet nice people, strike up intelligent conversations and hopefully learn how to actually play snooker, so I can graduate from just watching.
Student pub with a decent enough menu. Very noisy with sports channel blaring at all times meaning conversation is difficult. Staff all seem friendly.

Great place, been here years ago but popped in for a quick couple of pints to unwind after a stressful visit to the QE.
Firstly, any place with Jaipur on tap is automatically up there a top place contender.
Lovely selection of beers, gins and others. Truly splendid.
Venue is nice and big and airy, with pretty funky tunes playing. I'm not sure the student crowd is everyone's cup of tea but for me, I like it. Plenty of other 'mature' types there and no eyebrows raised, nice chilled out crowd.
Missus stated that the menu and I should not meet because a) it looked good, b) I was hungry and c) I lack self control. Didn't see any food up close so cannot comment.
Granted it wasn't Friday or Saturday night when we went but I would put this up there at number 3 for favourite places for a couple of wets.

Fantastic atmosphere. All the staff are incredibly attentive and friendly and really make it a worthwhile and memorable experience. Would definitely visit again and bring others with me. Really good menu available and their sports showings are really good as they can play different games on different TVs to cater to customer requests. They also have so many different types and flavours of gins and vodkas available and make lovely cocktails that are really reasonably priced! I was in recently and they have decorated the whole pub for Christmas and it definitely stands out and just looks so pretty inside. 10/10 definitely worth a visit
Amazing atmosphere! Always such a great and welcoming environment. Incredibly kind and respectful staff that are always willing to help. Rocky is always there to lift up the mood with his laugh. Great beers, cocktails and shots. Will always come and stop in when I’m in Birmingham.
