Found ourselves in Birmingham for the night due to train cancellations. After getting a hotel, we settled in The Wellington for a good session. Amazing selection of beers at good prices too. Really like the beer menu on the TVs, clearly showing the ale colours and types. Next time I'm in the area I'll be sure to visit!

Imagine the stock exchange, yet with BEER!! TV screens showing the prices and data for the top 30 traded beers. People all around engaged in lively debate. Arms waving, to their mate at the bar " get me a no 17!" . Simply brilliant.

A treat for real ale lovers. Always 16 on tap, mainly locally brewed. It's quite small so finding a seat is not always easy. Food is not served but you can bring in your own. Definitely worth a visit if real ale is your favourite.

Cracking real ale pub, emphasis on a large range of quality beers with something for everyone. The pub cats are also very cute😺🐱. Enjoy. M

No visit to Brum is complete without popping in to the Wellington. Grab a pie or scotch egg at tesco first and they allow bring your own food. Beer choice is huge and excellent.

16 or so real ales , 3 ciders and lots of choice. Toilets have had an overall and are very nice now. Staff and young and rude but maybe I'm old and fed up lol either way definitely not too friendly. There's a lady here how used to be at the white Swan she's very nice and manages the bar well. Definitely a great place to visit I highly recommend it !!!!!

Have been going to the Wellie since it opened in its current form and it's in my top 3 favourite pubs. The only problem is I'm retired now and lunchtime visits are well down! Nigel, Tracey and the team are to be congratulated for making this place what it is - a haven of Ale joy in this troubled world! Long may it continue

Is a good place for a good beer. There are 2 sections, the main Ground floor bar and a rooftop bar. My favorite Plum Porter is only offered at the top bar. Also enjoyed a HPA barrel beer. Had more than one, so tasty. Reasonable pricing. They offer only Chips, and no kitchen. You may bring You food in or order from somewhere outside.

Fantastic pub which was one of just a few around the area that were open later into the evening when I was there on a Sunday. Great selection of real ales, quick service, definitely recommend popping in for a beer. Was busy, but I was still able to find myself a seat.

The pub is centrally located and offers a calm and pleasant environment for its visitors. A fantastic array of different British beers on tap and in bottles. Here it is fine to bring in your own food, but the drink consumed must be purchased. It is worth to mention that they offer 16 traditional ale. You can also play darts. The staff are very professional and respectful. You can also taste the beer before ordering.
