A real pub with the widest selection of real ales . Does not serve food but you are welcome to bring in your own. Free wifi.

Is a good place for a good beer. There are 2 sections, the main Ground floor bar and a rooftop bar. My favorite Plum Porter is only offered at the top bar. Also enjoyed a HPA barrel beer. Had more than one, so tasty. Reasonable pricing. They offer only Chips, and no kitchen. You may bring You food in or order from somewhere outside.

Fantastic pub which was one of just a few around the area that were open later into the evening when I was there on a Sunday. Great selection of real ales, quick service, definitely recommend popping in for a beer. Was busy, but I was still able to find myself a seat.

The pub is centrally located and offers a calm and pleasant environment for its visitors. A fantastic array of different British beers on tap and in bottles. Here it is fine to bring in your own food, but the drink consumed must be purchased. It is worth to mention that they offer 16 traditional ale. You can also play darts. The staff are very professional and respectful. You can also taste the beer before ordering.

Fantastic pub with a massive selection of beers on draft and a great and interesting building. It was a little disturbing to see so few people drinking the ales, but maybe that was just a Saturday night in the City sort of thing. Lovely little outside terrace for a quiet chat in theory, but as it was a Saturday night it was really busy and lots of smokers. Will definitely have to come back here for a midweek drink. My new favourite pub in Birmingham I think.

Super pub with an extensive range of real Ales, lots of them locally brewed, and all expertly kept. The staff were really friendly... I felt like a regular after less than an hour!

Busy spot between 12 and 2pm. I mooched out a bar stool and sat at the bar as every other seat was taken. Had a couple of pints. Good selection of beers and friendly staff. Chilled clientele, nice quiet spot for day drinking even when full. Also really well looked after, clean toilets for a city pub

Popped in for a couple of beers on a midweek evening. Nice ambience, some very good ales on and generally nice to be in what felt like a traditional pub. The cats were the added attraction. They just generally enjoyed the attention and the locals seemed to fuss over them quite a bit! Nice place................I pop in again next time I'm in Birmingham!

Love the Welly. A huge (double figures) selection of well-kept real ales. Lots from the black country but also lots of guests. They display the strength, colour and price of each one on a screen. There are also pub cats if that’s your thing. I always come here whenever I pass through Birmingham.

A beer-drinkers' pub with a vast range of weird and wonderful beers (check the screens and order by number). It's not for everyone, but if you fancy good beer in a friendly environment, this isn't a bad place to while away a few (or more) hours. Check for special nights (cheese night, folk music). There is a terrace out back. And pub cats, if they feel obliged to roam around.
