nice food and quick. lunch menu choice is okay. went for bento box. expensive and is nice. good portion.
they just add £1 in my bill for donation to brum children hospital. leave us with no choice. happy to donate but would be nice to know beforehand.
seating is limited. not much parking nearby.
Our first visit to Yakinori, we went upon recommendation. Delicious Japanese food, top class service and a real authentic vibe about the restaurant itself. I dined with my family and really enjoyed all of the food. We ordered sushi, tempura prawns, bento box and beef omakase, all were served promptly and were very tasty. We also had some amazing starters that I'd never tried before - Chicken Katsu Tacos, these were wow! My kids loved all of it as well as the bubble tea.
Klara served us and was very attentive and hospitable in her service.
I would highly recommend a visit to Yakinori for anyone who loves Japanese food!
Love Yakinori - anytime my boyfriend comes to visit he insists on going! The poke bowls are amazing!!! Sides are great too. I did have an aubergine & tofu dish another time I went with friends though and I have to say I wasn’t as impressed - it may just be my personal preference but I found it to be quite tasteless. The staff have always been helpful too :)
The best restaurant staff ever!
I was traveling with 7 others from the U.S., while visiting friends in Sully Oak. We were looking for a good place to eat and this is now our favorite restaurant in Birmingham.
Khrish and Vrids were wonderful and the food was amazing. Totally going back!
I am very happy to have a good dinner experience here. This was actually my third time at Yakinori, and I wanted to have something new this time, so I chose poke bowls instead of the ramen I'd had the previous two times. Although it is yummy, I don't think it lived up to my expectations, as I'm not much of a vegetarian lover, even though a quarter of it consists of fried shrimp. I think some vegetarian eaters will enjoy it. At the end of the meal, I suddenly thought of my latest birthday coupon, so I told Miss SHIUANI CAMILLA and her colleagues. They offered me a free black forest cake and sang Happy Birthday to me. It was a very novel experience.

Great food. Really friendly staff. Came from aways on basis of Trip Advisor reviews. Teriyaki duck baobuns were amazing, nice bento box and nothing raw sushi
I went to this restaurant with friends when I visited Birmingham. Loved the store ambience.i didn’t like the bubble tea much but sushi platter and ramen were so good!
Excellent service from Sujit and his team. Food was delicious and lovely to sit outside on a sunny day.
The food was excellent as always. We got the ultimate chicken bento box and chicken katsu. The inside is also really inviting and a nice place to sit and chat while eating.
Really great food options even for vegetarians. Love the flavours, I've tried sushis, bento box and curry. Definitely a place worth coming back to.
