Purely Puddings

Last time I was here in October this place disappointed massively with orders getting all messed up. Came today hoping it would be a better experience but it has disappointed hugely. We ordered drinks for us and a dessert for my daughter which looked like someone had dropped the chocolate sauce all over it! Desi tea was lukewarm and we sent it back. Iced coffee latte was a glass of diluted coffee with ice cubes that didn't even taste of coffee! The colour and taste was all wrong, it was like drinking a glass of cold skimmed milk with ice. The Desi tea never came back by the time the dessert was eaten!!!! So, I guess this is our last visit here. Standards have dropped massively, a waste of money and not an enjoyable experience.

After having dinner in Nottingham, we drove to Birmingham and arrived after 9 pm. We met our friends at Pirlo's Dessert Lounge for a sweet treat and a drink. The city is truly different from where we stay, as we were able to find Pirlo's Dessert Lounge still open at 10 pm. We all enjoyed the cheese fries and waffles, which were both delicious and reasonably priced. It was a wonderful opportunity for good friends to gather and catch up. It's not often that we can find a dessert place that stays open so late in the UK, especially in our rural area. We felt fortunate to have found Pirlo's and had a great time. 😊 #KissKidsFamily

The Best BBQ Chicken Burger Ever, with Steak chips and a tasty, sweet Mango Chilli dip. From the first bite to the last morsel the heat remained throughout. The chips also remained the same temperature and were not soggy nor overcooked. Perfect. Pirlos have a great selection of desserts, especially their waffles. They even have a "create your own" which was delightful. I chose the Lotus Biscoff Waffle and would have them both again. The Service was attentive and friendly. The interior was bright, trendy, clean and cosy. When I'm next in Birmingham, I will definitely be back.

Definitely a 5* for me. Was deciding with the mrs and family where to go and I remembered this place I wanted to try. Great customer service as soon as you walk in, directed us to a table where you scan for the menu. Really nice decor. We got the Choc’o’Holic Crepe, Crepe Escape, brownie & ice cream, pancakes, Oreo shake and a strawberry mojito. The desserts were really delicious and fresh especially the crepes, the gelato scoops were tasty, strawberry mojito was refreshing, the Oreo shake was nice as well and the brownies were nice, warm and fresh. Definitely recommend.
