Toby Carvery

Joanne was such a lovely server, she really is a huge credit to the team at Toby Carvery. She was attentive throughout our visit, refilled our tea and soft drinks, gave amazing dessert recommendations, all with a smile on her face during a really busy service. Without a doubt it was Joannes service that made our visit such an enjoyable one!

Great link in the chain, good food and even better service. A warm welcome received from the get go and brilliant waitering, bar-tending seen and delivered. Especially from our waitress Donna. She was absolutely fantastic, didn't stop serving and had a great uplifting bubbly personality making the experience a 5 *! Only if you could make clones of her and put one in every Toby Carvery! 😁😂 Secure carpark with plenty of room and security. What more could you ask for? Please acknowledge the great job that your staff are doing...as it was extremely busy and they still managed to squeeze us in as a "walk in" booking... Over all clear to see it's very well managed! The only thing I would advise booking as these guys are so busy.... 👌

Free parking. Good check in. Called by waiter and took us to our table. Server explained and took order that was one veg option. Stood in queue for carvery. Food served looked appealing and hot. 4 meats and choose the vegetables and gravy. Great service and delicious meal. Very reasonable priced with mid week offer

Lone diner at teatime. Staff very busy and efficient. At the counter where the sauces are kept a couple had fetched a waiter to fill a bowl. They then proceeded to enter into some kind of time warp and were taking forever to select. By the time I got seated this pair were sat next to me. My food was cold and I felt disinclined to complain, as it wasn't the fault of the establishment. Other than put it in the microwave or start again, not sure what to do. It won't put me off visiting again. The couple were oblivious to the people behind getting fed up. A chap with 2 small children was becoming heated but not his food. Ho hum....

It was my first time visiting this Toby Carvery and it is easily the best food I have eaten at a Toby, the atmosphere was lovely and relaxed with a really positive vibe and the staff were really welcoming and friendly to me and my best mate and took the time to talk to us and we're very intrigued that we had travelled over 300 miles between us to meet up and catch up. Can't recommend highly enough.
