Walked about half an hour to visit this fish and chip shop after my local has gone bad and it was SO WORTH IT!

Fish and chips is always good and the service from the staff is good. I have used the service for a number of years ,because of the road work,there is no way for anyone to park your car and also the traffic is very bad at times
Just went an got there cod an chips 1st time in there an my god the fish is amazing foods lovely defo my local chippy from now on and staff are nice also
My favourite chip shop in Dodds lane was closed, I came across city fryer which has now become my first choice chip shop.
Fish cooked to order nice and fresh, friendly staff and a fair price.

Enough for two as a quick snack and plenty for one person for 5 pound cheap as chips but quality food and clean place and friendly helpful staff also takes cards as well as cash handy place near hospital and shops

I had a fast visit here today.
Never heard of it before and its never come up on my searches before either. First went in and the queue was out the door and service was terribly slow so went back 30 mins later and the queue had gone. This place seems like a little gem. Possibly Greek/Cypriot owner.
Staff are so helpful and polite. Food is absolutely beautiful. Can eat in or take away. Shop is immaculate, so clean and tidy. Excellent prices! Will definately be back. A*****
