Very nice place wanted to try an old school place decided to come here, very nice food, service a bit slow, it is very pricey compared to other local places and the high prices do not justify the food but overall very family friendly and nice environment, our waitress was lovely always saying g, which is lovely this day and age, ignore the chailwalla pic doesn't let me remove it
The new decor of the restaurant is beautiful. The tables are laid out very systematically. The service is great. The food was average. We ordered Nihari which not many restaurants do in Birmingham so were looking forward to it but the taste was not very good. They need to work on it. The rest of the food we ordered was good.

This restaurant has been on Alum rock for years. It's had a transformation with a revamp of decor etc. However you can't fault the food. The food was delicious the grill selection was absolutely delicious. The cheeseburger is one of the best I've tasted. This place is always busy proof of the quality of the food. Do try if you are on Alum rock.
Atmosphere was amazing, food presentation has improved since last visit, taste of the products has also improved : Sonia delivery excellent customer service well done to all staff. Value for money 8/10 , atmosphere 8/10 strongly recommend you visit this restaurant

Family friendly, good service from Sonia the waitress. food came quick and plenty of seating. The kebabs and naan were great, the butter chicken was A bit plain. Other than everything else on point
Loved the Paye here 👌 didn't expect would be such closest test to deshi. Specially with their soft fluffy Naan and Paratha was freshly made as well. Overall a happy Breakfast Journey . Paye portion is filling for one and Price is reasonable i think . Staffs are welcoming and happy to serve good . Recommend them 👍
I have attended Sajid shahi on countless occasions over the last few years and i can only say that their staff really make an effort to look after you personally and professionally. The waitresses are all amazing making sure that you are comfortable in your seating. The food is just next level fresh and tasteful.

We've been to this halal restaurant a couple times when we're in the area. Food has been consistently good, clean and tasty, the staff who I have interacted with have been polite and courteous but you can get slightly different experiences depending on how busy it is.
First time it was not busy, there was a staff member to greet us and show us to our table and give us menus.
Second time it was really busy and there was no staff to greet and show us to our table or give us menus.
In both experiences you have to go to the counter to order your food which is not a issue if I know what the process is but the biggest issue for me is cash only for payment.
If you can introduce card payments I will edit this review to 5 stars
