Well well well what a delight this place is! Who knew it was a celeb hang out! All the superstars hang round here! Anne diamond, Ken Bruce and reg holdsworth to name a few! Astonishing! And boy can they drink, wowzers! All good fun!
Fast service and polite staff, clean and spacious pub.
Despite it being very busy because of comic con the staff were helpful and friendly and service was in a timely manner.
Came to NEC for Naidex disability show. This Spoons was easily accessible and well set out and nice and quiet before the show started. We had hot drinks. Tables clean, plenty of space. Couldn't find a disabled toilet in here? Member of staff sent me outside to use loo whilst my companions finished
Not enough staff, plates and glasses overflowing on the tables and queued outside ...bar staff were clearly overworked but friendly
If the boss of Wetherspoons should ever read this, I would plead with him to never consider shutting this pub down. The only glimmer of sensible prices in the whole of the NEC.
The best chips I had in my life, the pizza was also very delicious... A Must try if you visit it..
