Saf's Cafe

On the menu board it says americano, espresso, flat white so you would expect to be able to get a not terrible coffee here. I paid £1.99 for an “americano” which was some thing that came out of a sachet and tasted like it had about 3 sugars in it. If it said on the menu board “instant sachet coffee” then I would have no reason to complain. But that sachet probably cost about 20p and was disgusting. Food is sub par. Pop to yum cafe at the custard factory instead if you want an unfussy fairly priced breakfast with not atrocious coffee with a menu board making out they have a coffee machine when they don’t.

Disappointed! Last week i placed an order, lady said 30 minutes, I turned up 40 minutes later and was told an additional 20 minutes wait. Cafe did not seem busy, instead the explaination was that she was not the one that took the order! We ordered again from here today, the daal (lentils) in the desi breakfast was off. It smelt and tasted off, in return I have food poisoning, egg shell was found in the omelette. Absolutely appalled!
