I haven't been here on Friday and Saturday nights, so I don't know what it's like when it's busy. The staff are good and so is the Guinness, but they could do with a better beer selection; some Birmingham craft beers would be great, although they tend to be expensive. What I really like about The Red Lion is the stunning, ornate, Victorian bar and for that I'll give it five.

Awesome Pub on the Weekends. Good friend of mine deejays it, always a popular crowd. Friendly Atmosphere. Warm & welcoming. One of Erdington's oldest Listed Pubs. Personally I used to deejay here myself so I can highly recommend this Pub for a good night out...

Great pub, great atmosphere, great gaffer, and great dj and personal friend of mine Kevin, too bad tonight is his last night. Too bad there's no entertainment after his leaving, he brings in the crowd, I'll be going wherever Kevin goes next....looks like I'll be going elsewhere....
