I had initially thought that this place would not be anything special, thought it was your bog standard food place. However, my opinion was definitely changed when I went in. The design was very chic and had a tropical theme to it. The seating arrangements was also very open and cosy, it had a lot of space. It has an upstairs seating area as-well as downstairs. The toilets were also very clean. The food was delicious and they also had Gol Gappe as a starter on the menu. But they did only have the tamarind flavoured water to go with them, so it had a sweet but sour taste to them if you like that. They also had a kids menu that has meals that comes with a fruit juice. However, for the price that you pay the portions of the biryani were very small and so was the curries. Expected to have more for your money like you can expect at other Asian places. The desserts were okay but nothing exceptional, they were quite standard would suggest to go to a different dessert place. But overall it was a good experience. The staff were super friendly and the service was also good.
Great experience, quirky and tasty food, extremely polite and friendly staff!
Pleasantly surprised by our experience here. We visited expecting the old restaurant to be there but it'd changed so out of laziness we decided to stay here! We hadn't booked a table on the Saturday but we were seated quite promptly. Ambiance is lovely for couple / friends and families. Music isn't too loud so you can actually hear one another whilst conversing, unlike a lot of other Birmingham restaurants! Steak was fantastic as was the stone baked pizza, couldn't fault the food. Staff were friendly and attentive. Good quality food and well priced. Would visit again.
