I had a poor experience. See what a non local has to say about the purple onion
-The bacon on any burger with bacon..... is not actually bacon! It's a mystery, fake, something. Definitely not bacon.
-Though the fries were very hot and crispy, they were under-seasoned.
-The floor was sticky! Don't know why!
-The Philly sub combo was 12.99. NOT WORTH THE PORTIONS! It was super small! Like palm of my hand small. The flavor was decent, but the burgers are larger (and cheaper).
- Do you love loud Frank Sinatra music? I don't. That is literally ALL that played the 45 minutes to 1 hour I was there. Mind-numbing agony.
Maybe it's a locational thing? Maybe it was the day or time? I would be scared to order any of the fancier things on the menu.

My Jewish great-grandmother would be rolling in her grave - the tzatziki sauce had an off color and taste, there was barely any meat (I'm talking a pita-to-meat ratio of 70/30), and the whole meal was 60% fries.
$13 a person for two slivers of meat is outrageous. I will never come back to this establishment, or any other Purple Onion of this franchise (if it is one).

My wife and I just ate at the Riverview Pkwy location (check #5). Never again. I had the pita wrap with falafels. It was okay but skimpy on the veggies (esp. purple onions) and the tzatziki sauce was a light pink with zero (0) flavor. That's the only sauce they had. My wife's gyro and fries: 3 small pieces of meat and the fries were lukewarm and had seasoning that was not on their photograph of fries. We'll stick with Eli's Jerusalem grill. They're the best and not much more expensive.

Fast food, but of a different sort than most fast food places. It leans more to the Greek side of food. And also these massive potatoes.

Very good experience. Clean atmosphere, very friendly staff. The kefta was very delicious, tender and juicy. The falafel was a bit hard and bland. The hummus and baba were about average, honestly. The shawarma sandwich was ok as well. The tabouleh was very dry and didn't have olive oil or lemon juice which I found a bit odd. I feel as if this place is perfect for a quick bite. It's easy to judge Mediterranean harshly as there are so many varieties prepared differently by people of each country. If you're around, it's definitely worth a try!

The Shwarma steak wrap was very good, the loss of a star is the fact that it took 45 minutes. Honestly, I don't think they even started preparing it until I got there. They were trying to be sneaky about it, but they need to improve the online ordering system to better alert them of an online order. There was only 3 people in the restaurant, so there wasn't any excuse for one wrap to take nearly an hour.
The Shawarma steak wrap was delicious though, so still... 4 stars. Get it with extra tehini sauce.

Quality of the beef is awful gyro is just a pita wrap with the awful beef and a little lettuce. I ordered a gyro and salad cost as much as a gyro plate which includes salad and rice. Pita bread was also rubbery . Taziki sauce basically was mayonnaise with a reddish tint. Never going back.

Ordered a bacon cheeseburger, when I got home, my burger had no cheese, and only 1 slice of bacon on it. And my fries were cooked too much, they were hard and cold. Very disappointed in the 280 location. I won't go back!
