Culinard Cafe

The Bakery Items are boring at best. The Scones...tasteless, cardboard. The service....DEPLORABLE!! I have been to this bakery several times. Upon each of my return visits I thought that the previous trip must have been a fluke. I thought wrong. First of all, The restaurant is beautiful, clean, chic and sleek, however, the gruff & grumpiness of the employees is a black cloud that is heavy hanging upon the restaurant. There is NOTHING welcoming nor friendly to this would be fine establishment. My advice?????---Clean house. Fire the entire staff , starting with the hateful lady at the counter, and start all over.

I really want to like this place since I work in innovation depot, but I always leave disappointed. The term cafe' is misleading. The regular coffee is terrible and weak, and they use low quality espresso pods for their espresso. Their sandwiches and sides are decent, but overpriced. Birmingham is such a food centered city, there's really no room for sub-par overpriced food.
