Chipotle Mexican Grill

The food was good and you get a huge portion when you order the bowl!! It was enough for 2 people to eat easily!! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the 2 women working at the downtown location were not very friendly and just didn't care to answer any questions I had about the food. They acted like they just didn't want to be there.

The food is always fresh and flavorful. The wait was longer then i wanted, however not for lack or staff or service. The food is that good. The staff was quite friendly and polite. I truly enjoyed the natural drink options. My girls love the queso and chips. All aroumd great option for the whole family.

Hit or miss, more often miss. I've eaten there 5 or 6 times. Two times, it was amazing. The rest, not. Last time I ate there the chicken and the steak were dried out and hard, almost dehydrated. I don't get the prices either, I get a steak and chicken burrito and cheese dip. Sometimes it's just over $10, others it's about $20. The people there are nice, but I won't be back sadly. I've heard from others that this is unique to Trussville for whatever that's worth.

After they lost my Online order, I was made to wait in line. That's the whole point of ordering ahead, and the girl said they were making my order after I didn't find it on the shelf, only to find out they never got it to begin with. My money was deducted immediately, so I don't know how they don't receive the order. And they were out of chips! Again! They refunded my money, but not the points, which I used for one meal. Love their food, but this place has some issues.

Who ever managing this location, will you please have your employees wear a hair net and hair pull back in a pony tail or something, i can't support your restaurant if i have to be self conscious about hair being in my food. Its a few employees walking around handling food with their hair flying everywhere . This one tall black guy with dreads hanging all in his face fixing plates at the hot bar, just constantly touch his hair and hat without washing his hands or changing gloves. Thats just nasty to be preparing food for human consumption. I lost my appetite when i saw how he just constantly touched his hat and hair without washing his hands and changing glove. Please do better Chipotle.

Beware: not a fully functioning restaurant. Not sure if it is the employees that were there, the management, or what, but this is possibly the worst experience eating at Chipotle I've ever had. Not even sure where to start: tortillas were unheated, so burritos cracked into messy blobs of food in tin foil, employees' solution was to 'give' us extra tortillas. They were out of items, employees seemed unsure of what they were doing when it came to making food, ringing up items, etc. Restaurant was also filthy, not a single table was clean. They seemed to be staffed enough, but very few employees seemed to actually be working. One bite was enough, we threw the uneaten burritos in the (overflowing) trash can and walked out.
