Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse

We like a lot to go out. Yesterday we found this magnificent restaurant which we didn’t know before. We had a delightful experience there with delicious food and an experienced stuff and a great cook. We put this restaurant in our list and we shall definitely return very soon. We warmly recommend.

My husband and I ordered carry out last night for dinner and we were so glad we did. We shared a Ny Strip, a Caesar salad, whipped potatoes for the side and a piece of cheesecake for dessert. The steak was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. The salad was really fresh, the potatoes were nice and hot. The whole meal was delicious. They sent a nice bag of fresh rolls with our meal. It was just like being there. They didn’t miss a thing. Thanks Chris for taking such great care of us! We will definitely order again. Makes it really easy to support our local restaurants. 😊

It would've been five stars but our waitress didn't ask if we wanted dessert. The food was great. I love the cherry peppers that come with the calamari. I had the regular cheeseburger which was super delicious. My fries were a lil dark but good. The fried onions were lightly fried and yummy. Our beverages were great. My other problem is with the website. There are no menus for locations just a sample menu for one location. These happy hour menu pics are from the end of October 2019.

We have been looking for ways to support the restaurants in downtown Birmingham...and I think we have found a great way to help. Hyde Park has an amazing deal on the Butcher Box for carry out. We got 4 filets, ready to cook, lobster mac and cheese, asparagus and the gratin potatoes for the same price we would have paid for dinner for two. It was an amazing experience to prepare the filets ourselves and reheat the sides. I felt inspired by cooking this high quality meal. We will definitely be ordering again and are looking forward to enjoying another amazing meal.
