Rourke's - Birmingham - Photo album

The cafe is a very good spot in the middle of Kings Heath. I dropped in to buy some pies which I would normally buy at local markets. The lady on the counter was super friendly and helpful in helping to select the pies. There is lots of seating available in the cafe which is very nicely decorated.
They make THE best Lashford patty breakfast muffin with a perfect poached egg with a runny yolk and with a coffee and two hash Browns. Superb. The pies.......... the pies....... they are amazing too.
I bought a mixed box of 4 pies at Moseley market, and I think the chicken and mushroom pie might be the nicest pie I've ever eaten. I love the size of them too - quality over quantity for me. The lady on the stall was lovely and really friendly. Support your local independent businesses if you can,
My partner and I agreed their pies are one of a kind pies - totally worth trying. The dough is light and the fillings are generous and so tasty. Perfect for one person.
Amazing pies! Ordered four, where were all spectacular. Great flavours and pastry. Ordered a vegan butternut squash pie for my three year old daughter with a dairy allergy - she loved it! Amazing customer service and questions answered promptly. The pies were well labelled and packaged carefully. C
Just bought four delicious pies from Malvern Autumn Show. They taste absolutely divine 😍 I will definitely order more online and even find the deli in Kings Heath.
I bought 4 pies from when these guys were at Edgbaston market - everyone who had one loved them and I have to say the mint and lamb pie was *THE* best pie I’ve ever had! Packed full of flavour and meat - delicious.
These pies are amazing. All homemade and full to the brim with yummy fillings. The pastry is crispy and just right. We tried the vegan butternut squash, middle Eastern beetroot and leek ones tonight. Next time going to have the special. Order in advance to avoid disappointment. They go super quickly
Outstanding pies, but a bit of a victim of its own success at the moment - hard to buy any meat pies as they are often out of stock! Great to see a new local business thriving and always selling out though, and when you can get hold of them the pies (especially pie, mash, gravy & peas meal deal) are
