This place is an absolute gem since discovering Java Laksa we've oredered from here a few times and everytime we have been so impressed. We're a mixed household of vegans and omnivores which isn't always easy to cater for well in one order, but each time they have always delivered high quality good tasting food. I look forward to trying more off your vegan menu.

I naively ordered from here, thinking it would be like a Katsu style curry but with an Indonesian take on it. This is by no means the restaurant's fault, but be careful before placing an order. This is evidently very authentic Indonesian food and a very acquired taste. I wrongly assumed, that because I like Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Indian , Thai etc, that this might be my kind of food. Sadly it cost me nearly £20 and it will all go in the bin. I did try and make the best of it, but just not for me. As I say, it's not a reflection on the restaurant, but my fault for not realising what I was buying . If you've travelled this part of the world and had exposure to this kind of food, I'm sure you may love it, otherwise do some research first before placing the order.

I ordered the chicken laksa via Uber eats. It was absolutely delicious! Huge portion, deep rich flavour, so much chicken. I wasn’t expecting it to be so good, and am super happy that this authentic new place has arrived in Brum! If you are looking for a different south East Asian flavour to the many Thai and Vietnamese options in this city, then give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed! I will be ordering again very soon...

Food is excellent, quite a good selection of indonesian food. The complete meals are good to request, as these have samples of dishes in Indo you can have. But for sure, if you want a wholesome bowl of food, go for the laksa...this is really good tasty bowl of goodness. Lovely guy who owns it, has been to Java and learned how to cook these Indonesian cuisines. It's a must if you ever go there or come across it elsewhere in the UK.
