We went for: •Melt grilled cheese sandwich served with a pot of house tomato soup for dunking - £6.95 •Breakfast grilled cheese sandwich - £8.75 •Creamed spinach grilled cheese sandwich - £8.75 2 x Prosecco - £5 each These were the most delectable toasted sandwiches I’ve ever had! I am a massive cheese lover and could have it on everything, but even I can find some cheesy meals just far too laden with grease. NOT THESE SARNIES! The in house cheese blend melts perfectly and gives you that ooey gooey sensation we know and love, but at the same time it’s subtle enough to let the other flavours and filling shine. It was a hard fought battle for the top spot between the spinach and the breakfast sandwiches. The spinach was garlicky and generously filled whilst the breakfast had a perfectly runny egg and really good quality thick cut bacon. The tomato soup for dunking was clearly very fresh and home made; it had a ‘real’ tomato taste instead of being on the sweet side like so many tomato soups and sauces can often be. We had some Mo’reos to take home - deep fried Oreo’s with chocolate dipping sauce. GOOD LORD! Make sure you leave room for these because they are outrageously good. Melt have a drinks licence until 8pm (working on making it later), a well stocked bar and a wide selection of independent beers. This is a great spot for some casual food and drinks or to start the night before you head off into Moseley village.

If Grilled Cheese sandwiches is your thing then this place is a must. Had the Grilled cheese with a pot of tomato soup for dipping which was tasty. Good pot a tea too. They also serve craft beers & wine if you fancy something stronger. Will definitely make a return visit and try more of the menu.

Would recommend! Went for early dinner on Saturday. Been before for lunch (sandwiches are great) but wanted to try the fondue. Was so good! Lovely and cheesy, plenty of bread, potatoes and pickles. Perfectly matched with just enough bread to mop up the pan. Glass of wine and a gorgeous frozen margarita for pudding (although next time, I'll try the choc fondue!) Staff were all lovely. Was nice to see others in, even for just drinks. Reasonably priced too.

Had our eye on this for a while and finally went for lunch. We both had the grilled cheese sandwich, which was perfect with the little tomato soup for dipping. Teenager loved the deep fried Oreos! Lovely space, with loads more room downstairs.

2nd visit but first time eating. The braised beef toastie was absolute filth and absolutely delicious. Family run establishment which echoes through the homely vibe of this place. Cemented favourite with the locals but really worth venturing to if you're looking for a fine feed!

Amazing grilled cheese sandwiches, wonderful friendly staff. Melt is a hidden gem in Moseley. They have fantastic craft ales and a great selection of other drinks. Downstairs is a very cool place. We can’t wait to come back.

Fantastic food, very tasty and nice atmosphere. Well worth the normally quite expensive price for a toastie as it was very thick. Staff were also very welcoming. Would definitely eat there again.

We went to Melt last night for a birthday celebration. A delightful and unexpected pleasure. Such a warm and friendly team, the fondue was incredible and the selection of local beers the perfect accompaniment.
