Food was tasty, my favourite dish was the salt and pepper chips. The food was cooked with love and the chef clearly has a lot of experience. would defiantly order again. Highly recommend.

Well well well, we have our new favourite Asian takeaway. After exploring the somewhat daunting menu and hitting up a set menu for 4, we found ourselves ooohing and ahhhing over the fresh, fragrant exciting flavours of each meal. Nothing here is greasy, the vegetables are crisp and bursting with zest and even the prawn crackers and samosas managed to be surprisingly impressive.
My personal favourite detail is all the packaging is either totally recyclable or the good kind you'll keep as your new best tupprwear.
Well impressed, WILL go again, WOULD recommend. 👏👏👏

We tried melon man for the first time last night and I must say what a lovely experience the staff was so friendly on entry and the food was beautiful been a while since we have enjoyed a Chinese as much and definitely our new Chinese and right on our door step thank you for the lovely food and see you again soon

Nice and unique chinese take away. More choice compare to other chinese take away around kingstanding and sutton coldfield area. Food is tasty and staff is friendly. Will order from Melon Man again. Recommend.

Can I just say that this place and the owner ALWAYS excels in every department from food, people skills, ‘entertainment’, at least everytime I place an order and pick up anyway, from his drum efforts to his pumpkin carving skillz and just being a genuinely nice guy! It’s just a really friendly and welcoming place to get/order your food from and the food itself is always top notch! Can’t recommend highly enough! X 😊

Without fail, melon man always serves on point food, maybe more expensive than most but you pay for what you get, everything he does is his life. They are a lovely family and made us all feel welcome with love. His daughter is very very beautfiul and polite aswell as she greets with a smile .

The food is amazing, big portions, hot, fresh ingredients.
Nice selection of Chinese, Malaysian & Singapore dishes. It’s hard to find a Chinese takeaway that ticks every box.
Chinese is one of my favourite foods and I’m a fussy eater.
Nice friendly family run business.
