Stumbled upon the cafe by mistake. It's well worth taking the wrong route and ending up there. My husband and I had a lovely tea and cream scone. The young lady who severed us was so friendly and pleasant 😀, she made us feel welcome and relaxed. The flavour of the tea was amazing, as were the scones until they were scone. Accessing the building isn't easy whether you are using a walking stick or a wheelchair. The gradient is steep and uneven with no thought of how wheelchairs could navigate through from the main entrance to the toilets and finally into the cafe. Doors weren't automatic and very narrow when entering the cafe.

The Roundhouse is a wonderful place for lunch set along side the canals in Birmingham. Walking around the canals, with a little imagination one could almost be in a little Venice. Well the little Venice of Birmingham. As I'd say in Italian........ Fantastico Fantastico Fantastico Grazie Grazie Grazie XX It was a great day out.

I'd been recommended Jonathans a few times and the stars finally aligned just right so I could go. I had the big breakfast and it was easily one of the best I've ever had. I could tell that everything was of a high quality and it was all cooked to perfection. And the atmosphere is lovely, it felt like having breakfast in a Manor house. I will definitely be returning as soon as I can.

Very delicious food! Chips is tasty and one of the best in town. My son loves various ingredient of pies, especially the one with mushrooms.

I had the chicken and leek pie and my husband had the steak and kidney pie. They were both incredible. The best pies we have ever tasted. All the food is home made and you can definitely taste that it is. Wish we didn’t live so far away but we will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

Amazing afternoon tea with the best scones. Lovely venue and great value for money. Just 5 mins walk from city centre next door to The Distillery. Can't recommend enough

Lovely place in the Roundhouse. The pies are excellent: tender beef, perfectly fried chips. I advise you to get the pie with the Welsh name (sorry I can't remember the name). It was delicious. The service is also very nice and quick. I will be back for the cakes and scones!

This is an absolute delight - a cobbled courtyard setting with excellent food, good value and friendly staff. Perfect after a walk or bike ride along the canal.
