Shadhona

Second visit to Shadona, food was still good, took a while to arrive, restaurant was not that busy, staff weren't as attentive as previous visit. There was a fly in the onion salad that came with poppadoms, and when the bill came, it was 50% more expensive than previous visit - same number of diners with a similar meals ordered.

We had our staff meal here last night and food and service was excellent. We had such a lovely evening and all really enjoyed our food. I highly recommend the Vegetarian Thali so you can try lots of little bits and the Chicken Tikka Masala was definitely a favourite around the table. We will be back!

Went for the Sunday buffet. I haven't been for 15+years. The tandoori chef needs praising.. excellent chicken tikka a superb tandoori roti. The buffet had mixed starters which were served, then a good array of curries including excellent niramish, a mixed veg curry. I was surprised not see a dal or chick pea dish. The food is spiced so that anyone can eat all of it, but staff were able to provide green chillies to spice it toy taste.

First visit at Shadona as a work gathering get together. First impressions the restaurant was spectacular and the staff very helpful. The food was bang on! First bite into my lamb vindaloo and it was delicious along with the rest of the food. We recieved excellent service from a gentleman called Smithy an absolute credit to the restaurant polite helpful and friendly. For sure I’ll be coming to Shadona in Bishop Stortford again with other family and friends to enjoy a lovely meal once again. Would highly recommend you try the food… delicious 👍

Best Indian we have had for a long time. Great service, punctual delivery and simply delicious food. Mains of Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Madras, starters of poppadums with dips and sheek kebab, sides of onion bhaji, pilau rice and garlic Nan. All beautifully cooked, delivered hot and sooooo tasty. 10/10 all round with leftovers for tomorrow 🍽😎
