Lovely lovely place. Good food, kind and efficient staff, welcoming atmosphere, reasonable prices. We dropped by en route Suffolk to Kent, avoiding service stations. One burger, steak and ale pie, and kids fish fingers later we were nicely satisfied with quality and quantity. Onto the puddings...delicious! Our waitress was lovely and very welcoming, engaging with our 3 year and 2 month old alike. The whole thing made us feel a lot more relaxed on our journey and service was prompt.

I haven't eaten anything but a dessert here, so can't comment on food too much. But other people have said food is amazing. Especially the chicken. But service is great and the atmosphere is good too. I went to the quiz night there, every last Wednesday of the month. Good fun, and all for charity.

Food was delicious, asked the serving staff to compliment the chef and he went to the liberty to introduce himself before we left. The chef's name was Zak and it was clear after the brief chat we had with him that quality cooking and attention to detail are of the utmost importance to him. Excellent quality of food, good service and a decent atmosphere in the pub. Thank you to all of the Nags Head team for making our meal so pleasant and enjoyable and once again a special mention to Zak the chef.
