Three Hosreshoes Spellbrook

Had a very lovely lunch here. Starter of Korean Chicken which has just the right amount of kick and a large portion of olives. For mains we had the Game Mixed Grill and the Sea Bass & Seared Scallops, both meals were perfectly cooked and packed with flavour. Desert was the salted caramel sundae that was very nice apart from the chocolate ice cream which let it down as it tasted cheap compared to the high quality of everything else we ate.

Impromptu lunch visit on a hot Saturday, didn’t seem to busy but the kitchen couldn’t cope and suspended orders for at least half hour. When ordered delivery was reasonable, and the food good. Not the pubs fault but a local farmer had covered his field with manure and the neighbourhood stank something chronic! We were hungry so put up with it.

Our Harlow Running & Tri Club used this establishment as our starting & finishing point of our Thursday night pub run. We were very pleased with our choice. Plenty of car parking space, top rate food was ordered before we set off & ready for us 10 minutes after we arrived back 75 minutes later, & a good selection of drinks @ the bar including wines, ciders, lagers & real ales. The seating area inside was nicely done out, but there were not many customers for meals as the dinnertime rush was over. We(over 40 of us) all sat outside where there was plenty of tables and chairs as it was a barmy summers evening. Everyone enjoyed their meals & rated them top notch. We would recommend The Three Horseshoes Pub to all.

Had Sunday lunch which was lovely. Was booked for 2pm but on arrival was told there was about 45 min wait for food. We didn't mind too much as was having a drink and catch up whilst waiting. Food was nice enough and clean plates all round. Finished off with drinks in the lovely garden in the sunshine 🌞
