We ordered a pistachio tiramisu for a special occasion from this wonderful cafe. Apart from it being very authentic taste, soft and creamy, it was absolutely delicious. All our guests loved and devoured the cake. Staff were very helpful and friendly from the design stage and answered all my questions patiently which helped me choose the perfect design and flavour. It was customised as per our requirements and baked and served very thoughtfully. I will definitely be ordering again.
Currently sitting outside this lovely little cafe in Florence Walk. I can honestly say I have never tasted I've cream as delicious as this and I'm 50! Everything is made by hand in the premises and looks stunning.

We ordered a 3 tiered cake for our wedding and it was fantastic. Alessandro and Martina were very professional. Upon taking our order they sat down with us and listen to what we wanted. They also made great suggestions and gave their professional opinion when needed. The final result was better than what we had hoped for. They delivered to our venue without any problem. They cake was praised by all our guests and they all said they loved all our choices of flavours. Martina and Alessandro had done everything that we hoped for and made our day truly amazing.
It is also worth mentioning that the store is prestige and tidy. As frequent customers we are delighted by the truly wonderful selection of cakes and savoury food on offer. The gelato and coffee are also a taste sensation. Highly recommend for all occasions.
What an absolute delight! I’ve lived in Stortford for three years and always dismissed this place. The coffee is superb, but best of all they can fill pastries with stuff. Just like Italy! Highly recommended. Staff are lovely too.
The most beautiful shop in Stortford! I absolutely love their cakes. Went for the first time yesterday, loved it so much, went back again today. Absolutely dreamy, and the best pastries in all of town. I lived in London for most of my life, enjoying a lot of desserts from great pastry shops, and I can safely say Alessandro di Leo's pastries could show some of the most high end places some real competition. The pastries are so aesthetically pleasing, I had to take some fun photos on my phone too!
Absolutely amazing chef created a masterpiece of a cake for my daughters 21st birthday. A number 21 with delicately citrus flavoured chantilly cream and fresh flowers, fresh meringues, fresh fruits and hand made macaroons... It was stunning!
We ordered a cannolo cake (torta cannolo) for my husband's 30th birthday and we could not have been more impressed! The cake was phenomenal and has become a new family favorite! Now we are just waiting for an excuse to order the cake again...
The staff was wonderful too. There was a quick turnaround for the order when our oven stopped working less than two days before the celebration. They were sweet to talk to and made the ordering process quick and easy.
The best coffee in Bishop's Stortford, authenticly Italian. The cakes and gelato are fantastic for a quick bite. The larger cakes are an ideal alternative for family at Christmas and Easter.
