Good non traditional beers at great prices. Dont visit if you want to chat on your mobile phone...they are not allowed. If you're looking for a bit of piece and quiet and social interaction this is the place for you!

Very nice beers, dark mild lovely. If Richard the barman worked at wetherspoons, they could get rid of 5 of their wetherspoons staff, as he serves on faster than all of them put together

Nice to sit and relax without distractions of music, tvs, gambling machines. A chance to talk to your mates.

First time here. Good old fashioned boozer. Not sure if it's still a "hotel". Not sure if food is served- suspect not. Not been messed around with. Plenty of space and seating. Nice interior design(guessing art deco 1920's but I could be way off the mark). Tied to Tadcaster brewery, so only their products but no problem to me. Great prices and they have dark mild on draft. Lastly, only a step and a stagger to the seafront and tram service plus plenty of restaurants. Wot's not to like? Top of the range in my opinion.

Great art deco interior, good beer at good prices. No music which is a plus for many. Bingo and quiz Sunday afternoon has a loyal following!

Best pint of Old Brewery Bitter I've had in a long while! Admittedly I don't get to Samuel Smith pubs often anymore but this pint was much better than I anticipated. Friendly, efficient staff. Tasty beef crisps worth trying. Pub deserves much better recognition in the area.

Very nice little club, it has a stage and dance floor, a quieter seating area, nice friendly staff, I think it has live acts on as well on certain nights

Called in for a drink, as local to where I was staying, staff polite. The singers they had on both Fri and Saturday night were really good. Wine choice limited but would possibly visit again.
