We did a pre run yesterday as we are staying at the willows for 2 nights in June and we spoke to the receptionist yesterday to comfirm our bookings and the receptionist was really helpful we came away really happy so we decided to stay for lunch as a tester and the food is amazing I can't wait for the end of June to go back and actually stay over and eat the salmon again it was amazing it's worth the 30 mins drive from Wigan just for the food x
What a difference a change of management makes. Our waitresses (Ellie and another) couldn’t do enough for us. The food was lovely, much better quality than it was when it was 2for1. The place was packed but comfortable, didn’t feel like sardines. Thank you and keep up the good work!
We dropped in for a quick lunch. Plenty of room and air conditioned, which, in the current heat, was very welcome.
Service was good and very friendly staff. The food was good, and, as it t was a Thursday, it meant hubby got a steak and a pint for £12.

Great clean pub with good menu selection and tasty food at reasonable prices. The staff were friendly and helpful and there is lots of on-site parking available.
We arrived mid afternoon for an overnight stay. We were made very welcome on arrival and given the key to our room. The room was lovely and clean and had everything we could want. We had an evening meal which we thoroughly enjoyed - the food was well cooked and there was plenty of choice. All the staff were helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Willows and hopefully we'll be back soon.
Service via app was awful 25min between orders then being told to go to bar to collect drinks
Our server Ryan was absolutely wonderful, very polite, well mannered and very helpful and charismatic to talk to. The food here was excellent and there is free parking with wheelchair accessibility. There is a small children’s play area which is good to keep the kids busy whilst waiting for the food. Me and family love it here, come here all the time especially for gatherings and meals out. Highly recommend. Lovely food, lovely staff and a great environment!!
Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food as on previous visits, it hasn't been up to much. Although it was some time ago.
Met some close friends here on a Thursday afternoon. The location is great - near to the motorway. Plenty of parking! Warm welcoming atmosphere on arrival - choice of tables. Laura looked after us and made us feel very welcome, as well as taking time to come over to do table service as one of the party has mobility issues. Nothing was too much trouble, she split the bill for us like an absolute pro and just was overall very helpful. I had the BBQ chicken burger and praline tart both of which where delicious and I am told it was Adam 2 heading up the kitchen. We will definitely be back and are looking to revisit around the festive period. Also there is an outdoor play area for kids. Establishment is very clean and nice clean toilets! Well done Willows!

Myself , as a first time visitor to this place , my experience was overwhelming especially because of he location. We get a beautiful view from the room as well as outside we step of the hotel . It has restaurant and stay in next to each other. Spacious parking area. Supportive staff and ofcourse hygienic cleaning of the the room , well managed and moreover my son was very happy as he enjoyed playing in the park . This hotel is designed thinking of each and every circumstances like it's near for the people who travel by train . Easy access to supermarket and medical shop which is near by to the hotel. Overall it was a good experience. I highly recommend this place 👌 🙌
Excellent welcome when we arrived to check in. Dinner was very tasty food after a long day travelling. 20% discount on food and very well priced drinks were appreciated. Special mention to Ryan who welcomed us and later took our food order, and to Issac our waiter and Ben the chef. Also thanks to the young waitress who served drinks and pudding. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere at all times.
