This has to be the best bistro in Blackpool. Amazing service. The food is to die for and it's reasonably priced. Daniel is a star. Well worth a visit. The home cooked food is well worth trying.
Thanks Daniel. See you soon xxx
This place is an oasis, lovely place, great people, Danny was a star and food u wouldn't think possible in Blackpool, I'd highly recommend it to stay or dine 10 out of 10. Thank u all
It Was a nice place. Very Comfy Bed And Pillows. Bed Nice And Clean. Decent T.V and channels very good WIFI and nice wee owner.
Few Issues I Had was The Shower. The Temperature is just not there. Hot And Cold when it wants and cut of. Also The Door is held by a latch and The Outside Hall light gets in The Room.
That Is Minor Complaints but overall I Did Like It.
I Never Had The Food.
Daniel is a lovely man. Chatty & makes you feel welcome.
Breakfast was lovely with a lovely selection of fresh fruits.
When we were leaving for our night out he came to the door & said how nice I looked & said to have a great night.
The little things that count .
Thanks Daniel. X x x
Good value and clean. Close to north pier area. Convenient for beach and promenade. Parking not guaranteed but there is a 24 or 48 hour car park very close by on Queen Street where it is safe to leave car overnight. To access this street by car you have to go round as it’s one way but it’s a two minutes walk from this guest house.
10/10 stay! Over for the darts and the location was perfect. Unreal selection of bars, restaurants and tourist attractions all in close proximity. McHalls far exceeded our expectations, gorgeous food and the premises is spotless. Daniel, the owner, is a great character and was at hand to help at any time. Will be back!
Absolutely brilliant stay, we stayed for 2 nights as our honeymoon break without the kids - it's a chilled relaxing atmosphere with the most welcoming hosts I've ever come across - the breakfasts were well portioned and very tasty too.
Room was extremely clean and well stocked, will 100% be returning - for the price you would be mad to book anywhere else.
It's a 5-10 minute walk from the beach and various attractions with excellent connections to buses, taxis and Blackpool north station.
Thanks for being such wonderful hosts and we will see you again soon.
We received a very warm welcome when we arrived on Saturday the 21st, The owner Darren made us feel very welcome and as if we were more like friends than guests, the rooms were clean and tidy the service five star, great Sunday lunch, and Breakfast was out of this world, all in all a wonderful friendly place to stay.
Thank you so much for a memorable two days, Jon, Chris and Lou.
I have not stayed at this B&B but I have eaten in the Bistro. The food is amazing! All home made, you would not be disappointed! Danny is a great host and will do anything to make you feel comfortable, while Gavin is a master In the kitchen! Well worth a visit!
Perfect central location, well maintained and perfect hosts. Excellent breakfast and the Bistro food is lovely but make sure you book to avoid disappointment. Limited secure parking round the back of the hotel is available if you get there early enough but we were too late last time and were offered and on street parking ticket. It was quite hard finding a space but better than having to pay for public parking so no complaints. Danny is the perfect host, always charming and entertaining with Gavin the unsung hero turning out consistently excellent food.
Welcoming from the knock on the door..Helpful...my bag was carried up the stairs. Thoughtful...I had a coffee made for me each morning so i could enjoy a cigarette outside. Personable..our names were remembered along with our preferences.
The room was a room. Clean comfortable and bespoke.
The breakfast was plentiful and just what was needed after a night out.
A short walk to the Promenade.
The host Daniel. Perfect. Such a lovely Diva. He works so hard. . Always with a smile and so much energy. We would definatley return.
Love Louise and Julie. Xx
Took my mum for her birthday after she raved about it so much, and there lay the problem - I had too many expectations going in.
Don't get me wrong, it's a charming little place, full of character and colour, with the same being said for the host/co-owner.
But unfortunately the food was a bit of a let down, Yorkshire puds were like large rocks and bland. As were the roast spuds. And meat quite dry too. By no means an awful meal but after hearing it so well rated on the likes of, ahemmm, Trip Advisor this is being over generous really. I'd say it's worth a try but don't go with too much expectation.
