What can I say it's amazing for the price, it nice even if you don't consider the price. I go with my girlfriend whenever we can't be bothered cooking which as seems is a lot haha. At 26 I'm always the youngest person in there but that doesn't bother me and staff and customers a like a very friendly. Proper classic English dining even my portugese girlfriend agrees 😂🤣

Very busy place so make sure you book. Great value food. Good quality too. Only thing.... Because they are so busy they suggest options for you eg. With peas? Always say "what are the options?" And you will discover there are peas or green beans etc.

Been going in for years, although the owner never recognises you. Food is pretty good for what you pay. Packet soup, main with meat and potatoes, green beans gravy and a dessert £3.99. jay wish the staff were happier to see you.

Been couple of times now,had braised steak with roast and veg,celery sooup to start and knicerbocker glory for afters all for £4.75 lovely home cooked food,friendly helpful staff a pleasant experiance will definatley be returning again and again.

My wife and I have never been here before, but we were not dissapointed, lovely clean room well laid out tables ,nice pleasant staff, the meals we ordered came on hot plates,and was delicious ,we finished of by having desert and tea, the price was a lot less than other eating houses ,no complaints ,shall be going again,
