Food Palace

It was my favourite chinese food place for five years. The owner has changed and name too but the food is still delicious. We enjoyed every piece of it. The lady which was taking orders likes to make conversation so you won't be bored! We had starter main drinks and also tea and paid 47 pounds per two people, portions are big and we hardly finished it! They also use candle tables to keep food nice and warm and to be able to share. Also lady serviced us was very polite and nice and noticed that I've ordered vegetarian food asked me if I am so no one would put fish crunchies or so on vegetarian meal which I think was nice gesture.

First time I've ordered from China Garden tonight . The food was delicious. Proper chicken in my curry , instead of those slithers of false chicken you get normally from takeaways . Also the BBQ spare ribs in sauce were outstanding , the meat fell off the bone . Very happy I've found my new go to eatery . It's a must if you haven't tried this place .

I have not been in Blackpool since I was a teenager in the 90s..... being from Scotland. Coming back was amazing and a blast from the past. We decided to have a Chinese for dinner our first night here and the China garden is right along from our hotel. 5 minute walk from the seafront. Anyway, arrived at the restaurant and were greeted and seated right away. Our order was taken and drinks appeared on the table almost instantly. Then the little hotplate thing was brought out(no clue what was happening as didnt order anything that needed extra cooking). When the brought the starters out and put them on the hotplate to keep them warm(AMAZING IDEA)! We got the capital ribs, salt & chilli wings and crispy seaweed. WOW, the meat fell off the bone and the capital sauce was so juicy and tangy! They even brought a bowl of hot water to clean our fingers and extra napkins. The salt & chilli wings had a crispy batter but moist and the seaweed was the best I've had. When they brought the main course out we were almost full as the portion size was outstanding. We got the sweet & sour special(pork chicken and a couple of prawns, green pepper, pineapple and shredded carrot)and duck with cashew nuts(baby corns, waterchestnuts, onion, green peppers, mushrooms, bamboo shoots and peas). We also got 2 portions of fried rice, which came in one dish(had a big SPOON to dish it up). We solidered on through the meal and never managed to finish it all...... I got to take the rest away in a take away container which will be an awesome breakfast/brunch. If I ever come down here again I will be returning to the China garden as great little place to eat.

We got the banquet menu tonight, food was amazing, service was brilliant from the young girl and lad and also the manager who made an effort to go round and talk to all the guests! We paid £19.50pp for the banquet and filled 5 takeaway containers to take home with the food we couldn’t manage. You get so much for your money and the quality is absolutely spot on 👌 Chinese is our favourite food which we get at least 2/3 times a week, we had zero complaints and china garden is Definitely our go to place in future. Highly recommended. Shame I can’t post pictures of the food
