Went here for a Gentlemans breakfast on 16th March 19. It was cooked very well and was quite substantial. Phenomenal food, lovely lovely staff, so friendly, like 1 of your family. Shame it has shut, as Partingtons are redeveloping the bar defunct indoor bowling and restaurant. It was always full 7 days a week, will be much missed.
Been here quite a few times now, including yesterday for a roast - the Sunday carvery they do is always a winner and great value for money! They also make fresh homemade pizzas which me and the family tried a few weeks back and they were really tasty! Keep up the good work ladies! x
Popped in while staying at Newton Hall Caravan Park, lovely friendly, helpful staff. Great English breakfast with a proper mug of tea and reasonable prices.

Better than expected, thought being in a caravan park it may be pricey but was in fact good value for money. Order and pay at counter. They take cards for purchases over Β£5. Cash if less than that. Food is lovely can't believe how quick they make a jacket potato cheese and beans these women are so fast in the kitchen I wish women was as fast at getting there money out there pocket and spending a little instead of us men. Cash only today so we got are food for free cheers Kim

What a gem of a place, visited with a friend for a full English and didn't disappoint, piping hot delicious food, excellent price, lovely friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

Visit was related to my attendance of the Bowls competition in March 2018. Overall it good value, good food and down to earth norther folk.
