Greggs

Fantastic experience today. Had been in and bought our food, which was all good quality, and went to sit outside the store in the square. My son had only had a couple of bites of his pizza, when he was attacked by a seagull! His pizza was ripped from his hand and he was lucky not to lose fingers! After a few minutes trying to recover from the shock, we went back inside Greggs to get another pizza to eat indoors. It was a gentleman who served us this time, and I just happened to mention the attack and he immediately said they had seen it and insisted on giving us the pizza for free. I thought it was a lovely gesture..he certainly didn't have to, but it was greatly appreciated! So whilst we say there, I had a hot chocolate and pink jammie as well, I saw how wonderful this member of staff was, he greeted everyone with a wonderful smile, he was professional and efficient when possible, serving customers quickly, but took the appropriate time with people who needed help, eg disabled and language barriers. Other staff were constantly cleaning as well, when they had the chance, sweeping, cleaning the counters and the glass fronts. I was really impressed all round. This store and staff are a credit to Greggs, they should be proud of themselves, and thank you again for your kindness.
