Sainsbury's - Blackpool

Stayed near to the Sainsbury’s in a self catering. Was amazed how huge this Sainsbury’s is. They seem to have anything and everything. The only thing that did surprise me (and Could just be a difference in my area and Here) was how small the world foods selections are. At november23 the restaurant is also closed but hopefully back open soon.

As other customers have mentioned, the store is huge and covers a wide range of items. In my opinion, it is better than the smaller one in Bispham for range of products. I like this store for its size, the items that I know I can get there and its close proximity to its Town Centre (especially when we visit and sit on the beachfront). However, the staff are a let down, and that does include the imposing 'security guard'. They are mostly unfriendly and un-accommodating, forgetting that the passing trade, regulars and visitors to Blackpool are important to the running and continuity of the store. Sainsburys needs to invest more in training all their staff in all of their branches as generally staff in the stores we visit all seem to be disgruntled, unhappy and take out their frustrations on the customers.
