Absolutely stunning building. Ive watched two gigs here now and they've both been brilliant. I was really impressed with the free water left on the bar, as some venues make you pay. Would definitely watch another show here.

First time inside the Winter Gardens & we were pleasantly surprised. There's plenty of places to eat & drink.
We attended a show in the Opera House & I must say this could do with a refurbishment. The stage surround in particular looked tired & worn.

Inside is nice but the area is a little run down a lot of shops are closed. Go to the box office better than on line save pounds on my ticket

What a fabulous venue the Winter Gardens is . We attended the Wigan Casino 50th Anniversary Northern Soul Weekender there and it was just fantastic.
It's a wonderful building and we just loved wandering around between every Soul music filled room .
What a place ,we just loved it .

Such a lovely venue with comfortable seats and quite a bit of space for a theatre. The staff were really helpful and lovely, overall just a really nice experience.

Nothing to dislike about this victorian gem. From the theatre to the arcade and there's also a public bar that has live groups on in the afternoon, very popular with the more mature punters. 👍

Went today to watch heathers the musical. The place is beautiful and was just amazed. I would highly recommend

Lovely place. I visited the empress ballroom and Spanish ballroom both of which were beautiful.
I could not say the same for the catering.
The food was really terrible. I'm a vegetarian, however the catering company were aware of this. I was served stroganoff...or at least it was supposed to be. It was rice, cooked in water. No cream, no white wine, was just grey and bitter. Decorated with vegetable crisps. I complained...was told there was nothing else...then served this. See pic.
