Had the steak pie shortcrust pastry not for me but it was lovely the bar staff and locals are all very friendly and there is even a we dog bar with water towels and treats for our dog we love this place and so close to where we stay when in Blackpool the dog (Gypsy) says we will definitely be back and we totally agree with her thank you to the staff and customers for making us so welcome

Absolutely love this place. Staff very friendly and atmosphere very conducive for a relaxed afternoon socialising with friends. Great background music whilst not being loud enough to be distracting. Very dog friendly too. Highly recommended.

Great atmosphere nice friendly bar staff Ellie ....Woody and rest of staff........ friendly locals too ....😁... dogs get there 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ treatment a dog station with water dishes fresh bottled water dog treats towels to dry your dog two jars of dog treats plus your dog gets a treat from behind the bar too certainly pampered pooches thankyou 😁 and ruff ruff from Gypsy 🐾❤️🐾

A pub with a great history. Clean friendly. Lovely beer garden for these summer months. Worth a few hours of anyone’s time.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Food was fair priced and tasty. Locals were welcoming. Beer garden is excellent and the pub is dog friendly too. Being clairvoyant I did pick up on it being haunted but not in a bad way, just makes visiting more exciting to me 😊

Near Stanley Park. Traditional pub. Bit of a gem. Bowling Green attached too with nice beer garden. Long history. Food served. Real ale offering - no local beers otherwise would have been 5*.
