Great setting lodges are absolutely brilliant and nice and very spacious inside!!! Some have wheelchair access also our lodge has a hot tub which is really good for myself and I'm disabled but I'm on crutches as to get to the hot tub I've got 3 steps to get down then also getting in to the hot tub but it's a lovely site, your neighbours are quite a distance away from you so it's very nice not to be on top of each other!!! Would definitely come here again and we are a family of 7 youngest being 16 years of age.

Amazing clean cabins and they were pretty spacious for a small area. Underfloor heating was great and I was satisfied with this experience. The service by staff was excellent. The hot tubs were clean most of the time and temperature was good. Breakfast, lunch and dinner options are delicious. Would definitely go here again!

This place is absolutely gorgeous. Went for a girls holiday here with my friends and was amazed at the beautiful surroundings, the peaceful nature, and the brilliant facilities available. We had a great time in the hot tub all weekend and found that someone coming around to fill it up and check it very useful. We also loved the wood fire in the cabins, great for a cosy little evening playing games. We did the quiz on the Saturday and the archery on the Sunday, and both were great value for money. We couldn’t believe how good the archery lesson was for just ten pounds each, we all had great fun and the instructors are great at their jobs, really welcoming and friendly! Highly recommend this place.

Just returned from a week in the forest. The whole experience from start to finish was excellent. The lodge is well equipped and very clean and tidy, hot tub amazing and the whole place caters for having a dog. The floors and furniture in the lodge all cater for having a dog and the veranda is secure, even for a little dog. Would definitely rebook soon.

We was very disappointed. On arrival the toilet was very dirty obviously had not been cleaned. There was no welcome pack for the 2 small dogs, not even a bowl for there water, although there was a extra charge. The under floor heating was not working correctly and there was a number of other issues. My daughter contacted the reception and 2 guys came out very quickly and tried to fix the heating without success, causing it to eventually stop completely. The next morning I found a dent and what was obviously a boot print on the front near side wing of my car. I was very upset and reported this to the receptionist. She just claimed that they had never had any problems in the past! Very disappointed my car just over a year old. Not something you would expect. I would definitely not return.

Great place to relax and get away for some peace...upkeep must be tough to keep on top of with people coming an going.. cabin 14 was clean perfect for 2 plus dog..jacuzzi was cleaned every day...pot holes are filled in every week....alittle under staffed, yes, due to location an needing a vehicle to get here. But they all do a great job....
