Blackwood Ridge Garden Room

Very frustrating and unsuccessful experience. The owner was kind initially helping me to source 2 plants that were unavailable online, which was lovely of him but at the same time confused me about their ordering system. At the end, I had to place multiple orders and the owner agreed to combine orders to save postage. Again, confusing process and I could only get in touch with them if I call. I did another order today. Knowing the previous 2 orders are yet to be sent, I emailed them to see if we can combine this order to the other ones. Then almost immediately after my email was sent not only did I received ill mannered resposes from the staff and the owner, but they also cancalled ALL my 3 orders before I could ask why. Instead of providing support to help their confused & frustrated customer, or look at in the morror if they could improve the communication/operating system, they just shut their door on their clients. No one wants to make things complicated or unpleasant. Inpatient and incompetent is all I can say about this business. P.s. No good using their 'notify me' system. You don't receive emails when items are back in stock.

Stunningly beautiful sprawling gardens with themed "rooms" bordered by high hedges featuring different plantings - parterres, grasses, annuals and perennials. Open only in autumn - check website. Owners truly put in a great effort for the autumn show. Onsite shop to buy seeds, plants or books. Spend a few hours here - combine with the other attractions in the area such as the "Gardens of the Goldfields" open day.

Bought an Aronia plant from them online and although it does look healthy it is very small (see attached) and shipping costed more than the actual plant ($16 shipping vs $13 plant). They do take care packaging the plant for maximum survivability so I guess I don't mind that much. Oh and shipping was relatively quick too. Would I buy again? Only if they had something exotic and hard to find, otherwise it's better just spending the time to locate one locally.
