After spending half an hour trying to locate the mysterious Mexican in town, I decided to try somewhere else, and Im glad I did.
Just had a couple of excellent kebabs. I ordered large to ensure we had enough to fill us - that was a mistake! I couldn't gorge myself on any more deliciously marinated tender chicken, so our dog's in for a treat tomorrow.
Negatives: not the plushest establishment, they only take cash payment. All in all, highly recommended for kebabs.

Stopped off here as it was handy to where we were staying. Great service and the food was amazing. Good value and kebabs were excellent.

Excellent value and very tasty. Out of everywhere we tried in the village, this was our favourite. The kids loved the burgers and fries. The pizza was spot on, and the kebab did the trick. Staff were polite and very efficient. Food was ready quickly. I recommend you order in person, rather than by phone. Also, the place is cash only but there is a cash point a few doors down. So, if you need cash, order first and get cash while you wait.

Stopped by there on my way home a couple of weeks ago. Blaenau Takeway is an absolute gem in the slate hills.
I LOVE IT. Their prices are great. But the food is so amazing.
In fact, it's almost worth the 60 mile return trip to go there for takeaway.

Everything you'd hope for from a rural pizza/kebab take away.
Pizzas are thick, deep and super cheesy. Chips are those lovely crispy take away fries - exactly what you'd want from this style of take away. Kebabs are really good, with tender, juicy, well seasoned meat. The kebab portions are pretty generous, with the large mixed options being a great size to share between two. Chicken burgers are really tasty and are proper butterflied and battered breast. Nuggets are standard take away nuggets and not chicken breast but they are still nice for what they are.
All reasonably priced, and made quickly - especially if you call ahead, which can be worth doing as it gets quite busy at times. Overall, very happy to have this place down the road!

Decent price for a good amount of food. Meat was a little overcooked but there was plenty. Hit chilli sauce wasn’t that hot 😂
