First time visit and it won't be my last. The food was outstanding with big portions. Highly recommend the Big Pit Burger.. Wow!! I wanted a dessert but couldn't fit one in!!

Came here yesterday for food for the first time. I only ever actually came here once 7 years ago to see Father Christmas after a ride on the steam train.
The staff were really attentive and friendly. One of the servers "Ray" for a young guy had excellent customer service and is an asset to the team
Very friendly staff and owners. Took our orders even though kitchen was about to close and we had some recommendations.

Very nice pub great staff and the food was excellent - we also stayed at the campsite which was very good - building a new toilet/shower block not yet open but they leave pub toilets open all night for the campers. Take care in wet weather the bottom pitches to the left do get very wet although all
Lovely cook dinner not to. My taste. I'm not a fan of hard veg sorry chicken was lush. lovely people lovely place and nothing was to much trouble we did have a long wait but it was mother's day so expected my son said other meals he's had was delicious so it's only my opinion I'm a soft veg girl. L
Stayed at the campsite & ate in the pub it was so good that we stayed another night & ate again. Service was brilliant & Ray (new guy) was really friendly. Great value for money.
