Nice strong quality coffee served with friendliness and drank while enjoying a beautiful view. Didn't try the cakes but they looked delicious.

Amazing staff! When my granddad tripped and fell just outside, a member of staff came out and helped my mother and I get him up and to our table without a second thought! Good food, and a nice quiet atmosphere, made for a somewhat eventful but enjoyable meal

First impressions are of very dared decor, but once you get past that, the food is really good. Stopped for a lunch snack whilst on a long bike ride. Just what I needed and caters well for vegetarians/ dairy free diets.

Had the Salmon, very nice indeed. Paid £75 for 8 adult meals and drinks for 3 people. Only fault is too many flies in the pub, landing on food etc. Apart from that it's a pretty good place.

I loved the setting as well as the wooden fixtures. Although it reminded me of the 1970s the staff are friendly and efficient. The food was good as well. When I'm in the uk again I'll definitely be eating there again.

This as been a family favorite since the sixtys, I came here with my parents then and, still come with my grand children. Although it's recently moved in to new hands, they still continue to give excellent service and choices from a family get together, or afternoon tea and cake, you can sit and relax in the heart of the Mendips. Just a few hundred yards from where the hymn rock of ages was written. An excellent place for walking and climbing.

Great food, ate from the 'yellow plate' menu, only £6.95..... very good value. Staff very friendly - and a proper cup of tea! Will definitely go there again!

Not been here for a good number of years but it hasn't changed. Ordered food, portion sizes were really good and tasted wonderful. Seems it is closing at the end of Aug which is a shame.

Good quality freshly cooked food at reasonable prices in a atmospheric setting. Would have been 5 stars if there wasn't food all over the floor under our table.
