Up from London staying with my daughter, came in the dolphin a couple of times over the 15 days i was in Blandford and found it a really friendly pub with friendly locals and a landlady who came from my town Enfield in London, so old fashioned boozer!! Can't wait for my next trip to see my daughter and a pint in a welcoming pub .
Lovely pub with a fantastic team, visited on karaoke night with some friends and we all left with a smile on our faces! Not to mention extremely reasonable drinks prices

Popped into the Dolphin a few times whilst out and about, either for a few drinks or for a meal.
There is a great selection of beers and other drinks. The food is brilliant, really good quality. A much higher standard than standard pub grub!
The staff are all very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable.

The Dolphin is a nice little country pub. It is an unpretentious and friendly place that is popular with the locals who want a quiet pint but is also welcoming to visitors. You won't find boutique ales or specialist gins but you will get an honest pint and a smile. It's a little more lively at the weekends and they have occasionally had live music (although not that I've seen recently and it is really too small anyway). I've not eaten there but I've heard good things. Recommended.
1st time in Dolphin since covid Friday afternoon throughly enjoyable experience good beer plenty of staff good back ground music good prices will return for sure
Amazing Landlord and staff. A great local pub with reasonable priced beer. Great atmosphere with the regulars and very welcoming.
