We had a wonderful lunch here last Saturday for my husbands birthday. A bottle of champagne and some amazing food. It was so beautifully presented with lots of petals on the salad. Also recommend the ice cream, Maple syrup and Walnut, Yum 😋 After lunch we had a lovely walk round their grounds and sat in the cool by the river looking for the kingfishers. Highly recommend this lovely place. It’s a hidden gem. Not at all expensive it our experience and well worth it.

Staying at Blandford Forum Keynaston Mill was on the way home…had thought about a walk but roads not that Walker friendly. However a perfect location for a Sunday morning coffee and a stroll through the early spring gardens. Coffee service was efficient and friendly. Added bonus of having some opportunity to shop too. Staff take on a dual role of coffee and perfume, all sensory.

Exceeded our expectations. Visited a few days ago on a short break to Bournemouth in rubbish weather decided to look for somewhere nice for lunch. I am a wheelchair user and rang ahead to check access and if there was a disabled loo. Yes to both. It was raining hard when we arrived and really happy to see the temporary ramp had been put out in advance. Very friendly welcome. Interesting mainly veggie menu - we had delicious mushroom soup followed by the vegan roll and roasted veg both with beautiful and delicious salad garnished with flower petals. Couldn't resist the desserts - purple iced brownis with violets and the vegan lemon cake lovely light and beautiful. We would like to return in better weather and discover the gsrden.

We called in whilst on holiday. Didn't know what to expect, we just wanted some lunch. We had the most beautiful meal. Enjoyed every mouthful. Well worth a visit for lunch. I sat watching the chef prepare the meals, I don't think I've ever seen such a perfectionist. It was lovely to watch him take such care. We will definitely be back. Thankyou to the lovely girls that served us too.
