Callywith Table Table

We were served by Maddie from beginning to end and she was such a delight. There were four of us and went for the “two for “deal. Two of us had the smothered chicken and it was so tender with the toppings being perfectly matched as regards taste and quantity. The chips were to die for and I am fussy about my chips. One of my friends had the gammon which had the choice of either , or , or both egg pineapple. I would have liked my garlic bread to have a little more garlic butter on it but that might not suit everyone. I ordered a salad to go with it and it was a lovely mixture of sweet corn , peppers , tomatoes , cucumber and lettuce. Very nice . We all had our favourite puddings. Mine was Betty apple caramel with custard. Two of my friends had the flake and chocolate nibbles sundae which they enjoyed but it only had one chocolate nibble on it !! It’s always good value food here . It’s one of our go to places when in Bodmin

Went with a family member for a birthday meal. Really enjoyed the roast especially the roast potatoes (had extra). Steak was cooked well and food hot. Sharer platter enough for three of us and desserts delicious. Staff member knew it was for a birthday and sang Happy Birthday, made it special for her. Will go again.

Usually go for breakfast here which is basically faultless. Great choice of foods and top tier service. However I took the family for dinner here recently and the food was good but nothing to write home about, took us nearly half hour to be asked if we wanted drinks and nearly an hour to receive our starters. The restaurant wasn't busy and there were plenty of staff.

A little busy as it was Father's Day, but food was fine although they forgot to bring the ice cream requested with the mains as one of party unable to eat solids so by the time it was served, the diner didn't have enough time to eat it as unable to digest quickly! Staff were friendly & helpful otherwise.

Whilst I was staying at the Premier Inn, our company that we work for gave us a £30 food allowance and out of that £30 we would have a drink and a 3 course meal and there would be money left over. The food isn't expensive and the quality of food is beautiful and well prepared. All of the people from behind the bar, waiter's to the chef were all good and the service that we had was brilliant.
