The Beresford

We came here for dinner for our dads 80th, the poor staff were rushed off their feet but we're really nice and helpful, they were understanding when the kids did the usual changing their minds what they want for dinner. Most of us had the carvery and it was really nice, the kids enjoyed their food as well but saved room for pudding's, which they made short work of. It was a nice meal and cheaper than we thought it would be, we will definitely go back again.

Lovely food and even lovelier people. Visited the pub for the first time today. We chose it mainly for the disabled access for my elderly Aunt with mobility issues. I'm so glad we did. The people working there are so nice. They didn't have any brown bread for my Aunties sandwich, so she said white was fine. Next thing they'd sent someone to the bakers to get brown bread for her. Such a lovely thing to do. The food was really nice too. We'll definitely be back. Thank you so much 😊

Visited the Beresford this evening, we telephoned when we were on our way to check there was availability to bo told there was. When we arrived we were met with a very warm welcome and shown to a lovely table in the bar area as we had our small dog with us. The staff could not have been more friendly or more accommodating, even to the point of offering to watch our dog whilst we went up for our carvery. Food was fabulous and all the staff outstanding, special mention to Oliver who was amazing, thank you so much we will definitely recommend this place and will definitely return.

We were looking for somewhere to eat on our 2 day break and luckily we spotted this. We had the carvery and it was absolutely to die for delicious proper home cooked food. The staff were very friendly and kindly fitted us in, the customer service was excellent. If you are going on holiday or a short break I definitely recommend eating here

Had a lovely roast lunch there with my mum today. Food was absolutely amazing and didn't have to wait long before being called up. The waitress was so polite and checked on every one she was serving in our seating area. Only reason not 5 stars is so many dogs in a there .we are dog owners ourselves. I dont particularly like seeing big dogs with their tongues on the tables druelling for food. But otherwise 100% recommend going there.
