Fantastic. Proper little boozer with fabulous chef, kitchen and team who work hard to look after you. 5STAR Reviews urged us to go for a Sunday lunch treat and we were lucky to get a last min cancellation table. Simple tasty menu, specials and yummy puddings. Brilliant communication. Greeted on arrival, friendly team and traditional pub atmosphere, really recommend and plan to return soon.

Been on a Friday night a couple of times now for fish and chips. Very fresh cod. Really tasty. Crispy batter. Big fat chips. Great service, too. I'd love to see some real ales there, maybe just a guest one on tap?

Good pub in outskirts of Bognor, excellent food and service , with good selection of drinks.
Good choice of food with dailies changing regularly, roasts on everyday , and curries.
Good choice of deserts as well .
Booking a table is recommended, as is very popular.

The second time we have been for a family Sunday lunch with our very elderly parents. Always a very welcoming atmosphere and looked after throughout. Food is all freshly cooked, which is important to us, giving good value. Nice drop of Gales HSB, too, which I don't see up where I live. Thank you

The manager said that the food was good and he wasn't joking. The steak pie was off the scale. The steak just melted in the mouth. The food was cooked fresh which you tell by the presentation. The lemon meringue just rounded off a highly enjoyable meal at an reasonable price.

1st time there but not the last. We went just after lunch rush hour and had the place to ourselves. The staff were friendly. But the food was delicious and plenty of it. Unfortunately no room for dessert.
