Since the refit the atmosphere is such a great welcoming environment to work in every week as well as catch up with friends. Amy has worked so hard every week to give her all to every customer and create a sense of community in store even during big layout changes and staff shortages! I think the bathrooms need updating next and maybe a touch warmer on the air con but that’s really just my preference also having the m&s food options for kids would be a great addition.
Quite busy, staff pleasant, coffee hot. A nice place for a quick bite and gossip.

This is a nice and cheerful Costa Coffee, the staff seem pleasant although I was waiting a long time in the queue because there may have been a shortage of staff. It was quite busy in that place but there were plenty of seats available, and a good few outside. The seats and tables are fairly close together and there was a shortage of very soft seats but I was comfortable enough on one of their padded seats.
The only problem was that although I asked for a decaffeinated coffee I’m fairly sure I was given caffeinated, because I’m feeling very strung up and tense a few hours later; exactly the same feeling I get when I’ve had too much caffeine. I’m a bit allergic to to caffeine. When I think back on it I can recall that the message for a decaffeinated coffee wasn’t relayed very well from the assistant who served me to the barrister who made the drink, I will have to double check my coffee in future. Now I possibly face a sleepless night due to the high dosage of caffeine I’ve possibly consumed today.😕
Apart from that my time went well in there.
I’m rating this coffee shop three stars, if I felt that they hadn’t have made the mistake with the decaffeinated coffee it would have been four.
Actually, I will give them the benefit of any doubt and give them four. 🌟🌟🌟🌟
